    One of the most popular tourist attractions in Lisbon is the Santa Justa Lift (Elevador de Santa Justa) which connects the lower streets of the Baixa area to the higher Bairro Alto neighbourhood. Whilst the lift features on many people’s must-do lists whilst in Lisbon, it is not worth the long wait as the line can often get incredibly long (often an hour or more) especially if you have limited time in the city. However the view across the city from the observation deck at the top is amazing and you can access this with no wait and without having to use the lift and you can also save money in the process!   2. My Day Trip to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv

    After several trips to the incredible city of Tel Aviv last year, I finally had the chance to visit Jerusalem for the day in December last year – somewhere I had always wanted to visit.  I knew many people who had already done a day trip from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem but they had always booked an excursion which is something I did not want to do. Thankfully friends who I’ve known for years asked if I wanted to go to Jerusalem with them for the day and as one of them used to live in Israel and had visited Jerusalem before, I jumped at the chance.   3. What Does a Closed Hong Kong Disneyland Look Like?

    Last month it was announced that both Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland would both close for the foreseeable future to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. I had originally planned to visit Hong Kong Disneyland last week when I was in the city for work to renew my Magic Access annual pass. However I decided to visit the resort just to be able to see what a closed Hong Kong Disneyland looks like with no one else around.   4. How to Get From Lisbon Airport to Lisbon City Centre by Metro

    One of the best ways to travel from Lisbon Airport into the centre of Lisbon is by using the Metro which is cheap, safe, efficient and incredibly simple and easy to use.   The Metro station is located next to Terminal 1 (which we used) at Lisbon Airport however if you arrive at Terminal 2 which is used by the low-cost airlines, you will need to take the free shuttle bus between the terminal buildings which runs every ten minutes.
