Last week whilst on a quick visit to Australia, I finally had the opportunity to visit Featherdale Wildlife Park in Sydney. It is somewhere where I have wanted to go to for several years now and never have had the time before now. Even though I have visited Taronga Zoo in Sydney before which is much closer to the city centre, I wanted to be able to see some koalas up close as well as feed the kangaroos! (more…)

Most visitors to Sydney (and even some who live in Sydney as I found out from a friend) are completely unaware that they are missing out on seeing the empty birdcages that hang above Angel Place when they walk down either George Street or Pitt Street between Circular Quay and the busy shopping area of the city.
