On the third day of our cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Wish, I woke up at 6:30am ready for our first port day in Nassau. I walked out onto our balcony and it was already light out and the weather was absolutely perfect with no humidity at all which was going to make for a very comfortable day in the Bahamas. As there was only going to be the three ships docked in Nassau on this day, we had already planned what we were going to do and take advantage of a quieter port as we knew that it was going to be a lot busier later that week when we returned on the second half of our back to back cruise. After a good night’s sleep, I woke up early on the second day of our back to back Disney Wish cruise due to a light near the door of our stateroom which was shining brightly and which definitely had not been left on the night before – I even tried to turn it off but was unable to which seemed very strange. We switched on the television to look at the map and we were only just sailing past West Palm Beach so we really had not sailed far at all overnight as we were in no hurry to be anywhere due to our first full day onboard being a day at sea.
