Despite loving everything Disney, I rarely visit any of the Walt Disney World parks in Florida which always seems to surprise some people – in fact before this trip in May 2019, my last visit was all the way back in 2015. It’s not that I do not enjoy Walt Disney World but it’s so expensive for what it is. Life is too short and I would rather spend my time and money visiting other countries and new places around the world and experiencing other cultures rather than go on holiday to the same place year in and year out. Over the years I have done many big road trips throughout the USA, Canada and Europe and they are one of my favourite ways to explore as they are the ultimate adventure and you can see so much that you would otherwise miss if you were just flying between cities. During this time I have also learnt so many things on each trip which has helped to make the next one we do even better. I now know what to do, what not to do, what to pack, what not to pack and also what you can do to help keep costs down whilst on the road. (more…)
