    On our last day of our Eastern Caribbean cruise onboard the Disney Fantasy, I woke up early just after 6:00am all ready for our day at Castaway Cay. I checked the map on the television and we still had forty nautical miles to go and as I walked out onto our verandah, it started to rain heavily but it quickly passed and it was very soon a beautiful morning outside.     Remy on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream is a fine dining adult-only restaurant with menus by three Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement of L’Assisette Champenoise near Reims in France and Chef Scott Hunnel of Victoria and Albert’s at the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World in Florida. When we recently sailed on the Disney Fantasy, the one thing that we wanted to do most of all was to have dinner at Remy. We were able to book our dinner reservation online ahead of our cruise and we could not wait to dine there. (more…)

  3. Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise: Day Six – At Sea

    Despite wanting a good night’s sleep after two busy days in Tortola and St Thomas on our Eastern Caribbean cruise, I woke up so many times throughout the night due to the noise from our stateroom shaking caused by the vibrations at the aft of the Disney Fantasy. One easy solution to stop some of the noise was to keep both bathroom doors open as they were rattling in the door frames when they were shut. Thankfully I fell back asleep quickly each time I woke up and eventually managed to sleep until 8:00am. (more…)

  4. Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise: Day Five – St Thomas, US Virgin Islands

    After our previous day in Tortola on our Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy, I woke up as the thrusters of the ship signalled that we were about to dock in St Thomas. Even though the two ports are under twenty nautical miles apart, the map on the television showed that we had sailed away from the British Virgin Islands overnight, sailed in a few circles before sailing back towards the US Virgin Islands. It was a beautiful sunny day outside and even though we did not have too many plans, we were both looking forward to our day in St Thomas. (more…)
