    If visiting Tortola in the British Virgin Islands for a day on a cruise, there is simply no better way to see the island than to rent a car whilst you are in port. Driving in Tortola is very easy and it does not take long to get anywhere on the island so you can see a lot of different places and various beaches in your own time. It is also an incredibly affordable way to explore Tortola (especially if there is a group of you) rather than pay for an overpriced organised tour. (more…)

  2. Disney Fantasy 8188 – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Oversized Verandah

    When we booked our recent Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy, we originally had another stateroom on Deck 8 booked. However one night when wide awake and suffering the effects of jetlag from another trip, I was looking at our booking online when I noticed that stateroom 8188 was showing as available. I knew that this was one of the cabins that have a giant oversized verandah so I moved our reservation to it there and then – it made sense to given how much we both loving having a verandah on a cruise.   3. The B Duck Cafe – Yuen Long, Hong Kong

    It had been some time since my last visit to a character cafe in Hong Kong so when I found out there is now a B Duck Cafe located in the New Territories, I quickly added it to my list of plans for my next trip to the city. There is not much English information at all online about the B Duck Cafe – all I really knew was that it was located in the Yoho Mall in Yuen Long close to the border with Mainland China. (more…)
