1. Disney Dream Marvel Day at Sea Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

On our first full day onboard the Disney Dream, I woke up just after 6:00am ready for our Marvel Day at Sea – one of the main reasons why we had booked this exact cruise! We already knew that it was going to be a very long day ahead but we also knew that we wanted to see and do as much as we possibly could so we had also set an alarm to make sure that we did not sleep in that morning – and the trouble with Disney Cruise Line beds is that they are so comfortable, that you do not want to move! (more…)

  2. Disney Wish Back to Back Bahamas Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

After a good night’s sleep, I woke up early on the second day of our back to back Disney Wish cruise due to a light near the door of our stateroom which was shining brightly and which definitely had not been left on the night before – I even tried to turn it off but was unable to which seemed very strange. We switched on the television to look at the map and we were only just sailing past West Palm Beach so we really had not sailed far at all overnight as we were in no hurry to be anywhere due to our first full day onboard being a day at sea. (more…)

  3. Disney Dream Double Dip Halloween on the High Seas Bahamas Cruise: Day Four – At Sea

The title of this blog will immediately give away the answer of whether or not we made it to Castaway Cay in the Bahamas for the second time on our Halloween on the High Seas “Double Dip” cruise onboard the Disney Dream – but yes we did miss our stop on Disney’s private island that day as we were unable to dock due to Hurricane Ian which I had predicted earlier in the cruise. (more…)

  4. Disney Dream Double Dip Halloween on the High Seas Bahamas Cruise: Day Three – At Sea

On what should have been our port day in Nassau in the Bahamas on the Disney Dream, I woke up at 6:45am ready to spend the day at sea instead as the previous evening we had been told of a change to our itinerary due to Hurricane Ian. To avoid the worst of the storm they simply switched our sea day and our Nassau day around and overnight we had sailed away from Florida and the Bahamas and out into the Atlantic Ocean. (more…)

  5. Disney Wonder Hawaii Cruise: Day Ten – At Sea

On the last full day onboard our long awaited cruise on the beautiful Disney Wonder from Hawaii to Vancouver I woke up at 7:30am when one of the many alarms that I had set the previous evening went off. Whilst sitting in bed that morning I could not decide if the five days at sea since we had left Nawiliwili in Kauai had gone by quickly or slowly but the one thing I definitely knew for sure was that I felt exhausted (especially after yet another time change overnight) but it was in the best and happiest way possible as it meant that I had tried to make the most of every single minute of our time since we had first arrived in Hawaii two weeks previously. (more…)

  6. Disney Wonder Hawaii Cruise: Day Nine – At Sea

I woke up on the morning of the ninth day of our Disney Wonder Hawaii cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver at 7:30am extremely grateful that there had not been another time change overnight as losing a much needed hour of sleep is exhausting. I know I said it on a previous blog but our Westbound Transatlantic cruise where we gained an hour each day we were at sea (instead of losing an hour each time like on this cruise) was much easier in comparison. (more…)

  7. Disney Wonder Hawaii Cruise: Day Eight – At Sea

After all the late night fun of Pirate Night the previous evening, losing yet another hour of sleep due to the second time change of the cruise was tough. I woke up at 8:30am wanting to go back to sleep immediately but at the same time, I knew that I had to get out of bed as I would have quite happily stayed there all day otherwise. Sailing in this direction from Hawaii to Vancouver was the only downside we found to doing this cruise as gaining an hour every day like we did when we sailed on the Westbound Transatlantic cruise in 2015 was so much easier. (more…)

  8. Disney Wonder Hawaii Cruise: Day Seven – At Sea

On the second sea day on our Disney Wonder cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver, I woke up at 7:30am after a good night’s sleep. I had been looking forward to this day since the cruise began as we had both brunch at Palo booked as well as Pirate Night to look forward to. It was a little cloudy out and we could see from watching the Bridge Report on the stateroom television that the outside temperature would start dropping quickly the following day so we knew we had to make the most of the good weather while it lasted. (more…)

  9. Disney Wonder Hawaii Cruise: Day Six – At Sea

On the sixth day of our Disney Wonder Hawaii cruise, the third part of our epic and long awaited trip began as it was the first of our five days at sea as we sailed across the Pacific Ocean towards Vancouver. After staying at Aulani followed by a busy few days sailing and sightseeing around the islands from Oahu to Maui, the Big Island and Kauai, a relaxing day of finally doing absolutely nothing was very welcome and very much needed.
