1. Disney Treasure Western Caribbean Cruise: Day One – Port Canaveral

I sometimes find myself wondering why I take the time to write these blog posts. Between having a full time job that often leaves me exhausted and the time it takes to put each one together, it is definitely not a quick process. But honestly even if no one else ever reads them, I love having a personal diary of every cruise that I take. It’s so much fun to write about all of my trips and then look back on them later to keep my memories alive. And this time I have to share just how absolutely beautiful, amazing and special the Disney Treasure is – it’s something that everyone needs to know about! (more…)

  2. Disney Wish Back to Back Bahamas Cruise: Day Five – Back in Port Canaveral

On the morning that we returned to Port Canaveral at the end of our first cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Wish, I woke up at 6:00am to find that we were already docked and when I walked onto our verandah after getting out of bed, it was absolutely freezing outside so I was very grateful that I had brought a hoody with me as it was definitely needed. (more…)

  3. Disney Wish Back to Back Bahamas Cruise: Day One – Port Canaveral

I had never intended to sail with Disney Cruise Line six times in eighteen months but that is exactly what happened since cruising restarted. As soon as the brand new Disney Wish was announced a few years ago, we knew that we wanted to book as soon as possible and followed all of the construction updates online and were really looking forward to the day when we would finally get to experience her for ourselves. However we also said that we would wait at least six months before we sailed so that any problems onboard could be sorted as there are always issues whenever a new cruise ship lets sail – no matter what cruise line – and we were more than happy to wait that little longer to sail as we had no need to be first! (more…)

  4. Disney Dream Double Dip Halloween on the High Seas Bahamas Cruise: Day One – Miami

It really does only feel like yesterday that we were disembarking from our last Disney cruise back in May this year when we sailed onboard the beautiful Disney Wonder from Hawaii to Vancouver. The last four months have simply flown by so quickly and life has completely changed with cruising near enough back to the pre-pandemic “normal” that we used to know with Disney Cruise Line no longer requiring any testing for fully vaccinated guests and the much-missed character hugs finally returning onboard. (more…)

  5. How to Visit all Four Walt Disney World Parks in One Day

Despite loving everything Disney, I rarely visit any of the Walt Disney World parks in Florida which always seems to surprise some people – in fact before this trip in May 2019, my last visit was all the way back in 2015. It’s not that I do not enjoy Walt Disney World but it’s so expensive for what it is. Life is too short and I would rather spend my time and money visiting other countries and new places around the world and experiencing other cultures rather than go on holiday to the same place year in and year out. (more…)

  6. Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise: Day One – Port Canaveral

Six years ago before I sailed on my very first cruise on the Disney Wonder, I honestly thought I would only ever do one cruise and that would be it. Fast forward to this year in May 2019 and we were getting ready to board our fifth Disney Cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy – the final ship in the current Disney Cruise Line fleet for us to sail on. (more…)

  7. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: The Long Journey to Galveston

You know that saying “it never rains but it pours” – well that phrase could accurately describe the run up to our long awaited holiday where we would be travelling to Galveston in Texas to board a Very Merrytime Cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. We had all the details of our trip planned for months and everything was booked and going to plan. We were going to be flying from London to Atlanta and then picking up a car and doing a road trip to Galveston – we even had all our stops planned and hotels booked and were both looking forward to it. (more…)

  8. Disney Dream Halloween on the High Seas Cruise: Day One – Port Canaveral

So the time had come round again for us to take another Disney Cruise. This would be our third and shortest cruise after sailing for seven nights on the Disney Wonder to Alaska in 2013 and for eleven nights on the Disney Magic across the Atlantic last year in 2015. However this would be our first time on the Disney Dream, our first Halloween on the High Seas cruise and our first time departing from Port Canaveral in Florida. (more…)

  9. Disney Magic Transatlantic Cruise: Post Cruise in Miami and Orlando

The first thing I remember on this day was the room shaking and being woken up in the middle of the night. I realised through my half asleep brain that we must have been docking in Miami and the ships thrusters were working overtime. It was 3:00am so way too early to be awake so I turned over and went straight back to sleep. (more…)
