1. Disney Treasure Western Caribbean Cruise: Day Four – Grand Cayman

    I was in a deep sleep when the entire Disney Treasure was woken up by a loud announcement at 4:30am. I remember hearing the words “Red Parties” and “Incinerator” and even though this might have sounded alarming to some onboard, I have heard something very similar on another cruise that we have sailed on before. However this was also not the first time that we have been woken up in the middle of the night on a cruise and as there were no other announcements made, we simply turned over and went straight back to sleep.   2. Disney Dream Marvel Day at Sea Cruise: Day Three – Grand Cayman

    After our incredible albeit very long and tiring Marvel Day at Sea onboard the beautiful Disney Dream, a much more chilled and relaxed day was definitely needed which thankfully is exactly what we got. When we first woke up on this morning, we were already anchored in Grand Cayman and it looked like it was going to be even more relaxed than what we thought as it was raining heavily and you could barely even see George Town and if the weather had stayed like that, we would have remained onboard that day. However luckily for us (and as is usual in the Caribbean), an hour later there was bright blue skies and sunshine and it turned into the most beautiful day of our entire trip so far. (more…)

  3. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Four – George Town, Grand Cayman

    After our lazy day of not doing anything in Cozumel the day before, I woke up at 8:00am (after originally waking up at 6:00am) on our Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Wonder excited and raring to go as I was actually really looking forward to visiting the Cayman Islands – somewhere I had never visited before. It was noticeable that there was quite a lot of movement on the ship and the sea seemed quite rough outside and I was hoping that this would not affect our day as Grand Cayman is a tender port.
