Last week I finally had the opportunity to visit Shanghai once again after being away for so long due to the pandemic. Given what has happened in China during the last few years where they had the strictest rules and lockdowns imaginable, constant testing for everyone and long quarantines followed by the subsequent riots across the country when people desperately started to fight back against all the protocols after seeing that the rest of the world had moved on, I was truly interested to see how it would be. Earlier this year I sailed Back to Back (two consecutive cruises in a row) onboard the Disney Wish and spent an incredible seven nights enjoying this beautiful new ship. For both of our cruises we were able to book the same stateroom which was 8654 – a Category 5B “Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah” cabin located on Deck 8 Aft of the Disney Wish. (more…)

As I have now visited the port of Nassau in the Bahamas several times in the last few years whilst on different cruises, I was recently looking online for something different to do on my next trip when I discovered Ardastra Gardens and Wildlife Conservation Centre. Ardastra Gardens is located 1.5 miles from Nassau Cruise Port and visiting the park by yourself is very easy to do so there is no need to pay for an expensive and overpriced organised tour as there really is no need.
