After having the most incredible dinner at Enchanté onboard the beautiful Disney Wish, we were very excited to return the following afternoon of our three night Bahamian cruise for the Enchanté Dessert Experience. We had never originally intended to book this experience but when our booking window opened, we saw that it was available and decided to make a reservation and I am so glad that we did as we both absolutely loved it! 3. The B Duck Cafe – Yuen Long, Hong Kong

It had been some time since my last visit to a character cafe in Hong Kong so when I found out there is now a B Duck Cafe located in the New Territories, I quickly added it to my list of plans for my next trip to the city. There is not much English information at all online about the B Duck Cafe – all I really knew was that it was located in the Yoho Mall in Yuen Long close to the border with Mainland China. (more…)

When we recently sailed on the Disney Fantasy, the one thing that we wanted to do most of all was to have dinner at Remy. We were able to book our dinner reservation online ahead of our cruise and we could not wait to dine there. (more…)

  5. Rabbitland Cafe – Hong Kong

My most recent Hong Kong cute cafe discovery was the Rabbitland Cafe which I found out about thanks to a post that I saw on Instagram. It was even better as the Rabbitland Cafe is located in the heart of Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island where I stay each time I am in Hong Kong – it really was just around the corner from my hotel so it only took me two minutes to walk there! For my final trip to a character cafe last year in Hong Kong, I decided to visit the Pompompurin Cafe. I will admit I did not know anything about Pompompurin apart from the fact that he is a Sanrio character. I soon discovered he is a golden retriever dog who wears a brown beret (according to his owner he looks like a pudding with his beret on and purin is Japanese for pudding), was born on the 16th April (a sunny day), loves caramel pudding and collects shoes. 7. Central Perk (The Friends Cafe) – Shanghai, China

I truly believe that anyone my age will still happily sit and watch any episode of Friends again and again and easily be able to quote most of the episodes off by heart. Who didn’t like Friends? It’s hard to believe that the series finished in 2004 as it honestly still feels like yesterday when we were watching Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross every Friday night. (more…)

  8. Hello Kitty Secret Garden – Hong Kong

The next stop on my list of character cafes to visit in Hong Kong was the Hello Kitty Secret Garden cafe located on Ormsby Street in Tai Hang on Hong Kong Island. Thankfully I was staying in nearby Causeway Bay so it only took me just over ten minutes to walk there from my hotel. However if you are using the MTR to get there, then the closest station to the cafe is Tin Hau on the Island Line – you will need Exit B and then it’s just over a five minute walk from there.
