Disney Treasure Western Caribbean Cruise: Day One – Port Canaveral
I sometimes find myself wondering why I take the time to write these blog posts. Between having a full time job that often leaves me exhausted and the time it takes to put each one together, it is definitely not a quick process. But honestly even if no one else ever reads them, I love having a personal diary of every cruise that I take. It’s so much fun to write about all of my trips and then look back on them later to keep my memories alive. And this time I have to share just how absolutely beautiful, amazing and special the Disney Treasure is – it’s something that everyone needs to know about!
From the moment that I first saw all of the incredible details unveiled about the brand new Disney Treasure – the sixth ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet – back in 2023, I was obsessed and I knew right there and then that I wanted to sail on her as soon as possible. However I also have never felt the need to be among the very first passengers on a new ship as I would always prefer to wait a few extra months whilst any initial issues or teething problems are sorted out just as we did when we sailed on the Disney Wish for the first time. So when bookings for the Disney Treasure inaugural sailings opened, we chose a cruise in early May of 2025 – five months after her maiden voyage.
As neither of us would ever want to risk flying in for a cruise at the last minute as you never know when flight delays or cancellations will happen, we decided to make the most out of our trip and our time off from work so we flew out from London direct to Tampa on the Monday afternoon and drove straight to St Pete’s Beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida (where neither of us had been before) to relax and enjoy a few nights of sunshine whilst sitting by a swimming pool or on the beach. We decided to not visit any theme parks on this trip despite Epic Universe being open for previews that week as we simply wanted some lazy and chilled pool days before embarking the Disney Treasure on the Saturday.

We day before we boarded the Disney Treasure, we left St Pete’s Beach in the morning and drove across Florida towards Orlando and onto Cocoa Beach where we would be spending the night. Our rule when going on a cruise is to always try to be within a thirty minute drive (if not closer) of the port if possible – the only exception to this rule in our fourteen cruises was when we stayed at Aulani before boarding the Disney Wonder in Honolulu which was located just a little further away. I have been stuck in dreadful traffic on the 528 Expressway after disembarking a cruise before and would never want to be stuck in that same traffic on embarkation day which would be incredibly stressful.
On the previous occasions that we have sailed from Port Canaveral, we have always stayed at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Cocoa Beach Oceanfront however we decided to change things up on this trip so booked to stay at the TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach which we both absolutely loved as it is located extremely close to the port. We also booked a room where we had plenty of space to be able to sort out all of our bags before the cruise and we also had our own kitchen so we could cook our own dinner as well as breakfast during our short stay which we really enjoy being able to do no matter where we are in the world – and there is also a Publix supermarket less than a five minute drive from the hotel where you can buy any food that you need.

Once we arrived in the Cocoa Beach area, we quickly dropped our bags off at the hotel before driving a few minutes back to Port Canaveral where we watched the Disney Wish sail out on the Friday afternoon on her way to the Bahamas for the weekend. Many people watch the ships from Jetty Park which is much closer to the beach however this also comes with a $15 parking fee whereas we went to Port Canaveral Park instead where you can park for free across the road whilst you watch the ships sail in and out – however you cannot leave your car here when on a cruise as they do not allow overnight parking.

After a solid night of sleep in one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in, I woke up just after 6:00am which is a lot later than I usually manage on embarkation day which felt wonderful and made me feel ready for the long and exciting day ahead. We started the day off with a much needed cup of tea (we are creatures of habit) along with some breakfast in bed whilst we filled in the short health questionnaire – you will get an email as well as a notification on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app early in the morning on the day of your cruise – and there are only three questions to answer which are very simple and straight forward and take no time at all to complete.
As our hotel was located so close to Port Canaveral, we were in no immediate rush that morning so after sitting in bed for a while, we eventually showered and got dressed before attaching the yellow luggage tags to our bags (which had been sent to us a few weeks before the cruise) and we left our hotel room just before 10:30am. Our first stop a few minutes later was back at Port Canaveral Park once again where we could see the Disney Treasure docked across the water at Cruise Terminal 8 as well as a Space X Falcon 9 first stage rocket booster that had launched to space and then landed back to Earth a few days beforehand.

There was no line of cars waiting to enter Cruise Terminal 8 when we arrived there a few minutes later and we were immediately able to drop off our two bags with one of the waiting porters and always make sure to have a tip (usually a few dollars per bag) ready for them as well.
The last time we sailed from Port Canaveral we had dropped our rental car off at Alamo before taking a shuttle bus to the terminal but as this was such a busy day in port – there were six ships docked on this day as well as on the day that we arrived back – we had made the decision to leave our rental car at the parking garage directly next to the terminal building which cost $145 for seven days and you pay for parking on arrival and there is no need to make a reservation beforehand as there are more than enough spaces available.
This also meant that we would not need to wait for either a shuttle or wait in line to pick up another car when we arrived back one week later so we could be on our way much quicker and by doing this, we were also able to leave a bag locked away in the car containing all of the shopping that we had done whilst in Florida along with anything else that we were not taking onboard the ship with us.

As we had a little bit of time to kill before our Port Arrival Time which was at 11:45am, we took the elevator up to the roof of the parking garage to see the Disney Treasure up close for the very first time. She looked so beautiful (as well as all shiny and new) in the sunshine and it was such an exciting feeling knowing that we would finally be onboard very soon.
At this time it was already possible to connect to the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app using the ship’s wifi and we were able to book our “Imagineering the Disney Ships” tour for a few days later. If there is anything that you need to book such as any Port Adventures, Drink Tastings or even the Royal Gathering princess meet and greet, I would definitely recommend doing this as soon as possible when you arrive at the port rather than waiting until you are inside the terminal itself. We could even see our dining rotation for the cruise at this time which was:
Saturday – Port Canaveral – Worlds of Marvel (Avengers: Quantum Encounter)
Sunday – Day at Sea – Plaza de Coco (Mi Familia)
Monday – Cozumel – 1923: Walt Disney
Tuesday – Grand Cayman – Worlds of Marvel (Pirate Night)
Wednesday – Falmouth – Plaza de Coco (Dia de los Muertos)
Thursday – Day at Sea – 1923: Walt Disney
Friday – Castaway Cay – Worlds of Marvel (Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix)

Once we had all of the photos that we wanted to get, we took the elevator back down to the ground floor of the garage where we had parked our car and collected our hand luggage that we were carrying onboard the ship with us. It was just after 11:00am so after taking a few photos at the front of the terminal building, we walked over to join the line to wait for our Port Arrival Time although there was no 11:45am line set up at this point. However just a few short moments later a Cast Member came running over and asked for our arrival time and then asked us both if we would like to start the line and enter the terminal straight away which of course we said yes to!
After entering the Disney Cruise Line terminal at 11:05am, we were directed to the separate Pearl and Platinum Castaway Club line where there was only two other families waiting compared to the regular line which was much busier so we only had to wait a few minutes until we were called to one of the desks. As we had checked in online thirty days before our cruise, our passports as well as my US Visa and my boyfriends ESTA (make sure to bring a paper copy of it with you as they do ask for it) were quickly checked and verified with the information in their system before we then joined a short line to go through security before heading up the escalator and entering the main area of the terminal building – it was the complete opposite experience to our last cruise when we boarded at the truly awful City Cruise Terminal in Southampton for our Transatlantic cruise onboard the Disney Dream.

We were Boarding Group 10 (it seems to get higher every cruise that we take as all of the lower groups are now given to anyone who books and pays for Disney Cruise Line transfers from Orlando International Airport or the Walt Disney World resorts to the port) so as we had a little bit of time to wait, our first stop was the outside Observation Deck which is one of my favourite features of sailing from Port Canaveral to take some more photos of the Disney Treasure.

There were plenty of seats available inside the terminal so we could sit down whilst we waited for boarding to start and once again “Almost There” from Princess and the Frog started playing which I always hear every time I am waiting to board a cruise. It really did feel strange to be sitting there like I have done so many times before as it still did not feel real that nearly two years after we booked this cruise, the day had finally arrived. They announced the Family of the Day not long afterwards before Group 1 was called at 11:37am with the next few groups called in quick succession every few minutes – once again it was the complete opposite to our last cruise from Southampton.
The terminal was starting to look pretty empty at this time when all of a sudden they jumped from Group 7 straight to Group 10 which was called at 12:03pm. We joined the line to board and before we knew it, we were walking through the giant Mickey ear arch where the QR codes from our Port Arrival Form were scanned (we had added these to the Apple Wallet on our iPhones so we could access them quickly when needed) before making our way along the gangway to finally board the beautiful Disney Treasure.

I have always heard people talk about the “Disney Cruise Line Smell” but I will admit I always wondered what they were talking about. However as we were standing on the gangway whilst waiting to board the Disney Treasure, this familiar smell (that I had never really paid any attention to before) appeared out of nowhere and all of a sudden I knew exactly what they were talking about and I immediately felt at home and could not stop smiling.
I always knew that I was going to love the Disney Treasure but I was not prepared for just how much I was going to love this beautiful ship. After an awesome welcome onboard, the Grand Hall which is themed after Agrabah from the film Aladdin was even more stunning in person than I could have ever imagined and I could not wait to see even more during our week onboard and I already knew that I was going to stop and take so many photos (especially of the incredible chandelier) every time I walked past!
Then just when I thought that I could not smile any harder if I tried, we literally bumped into Voyager Minnie on Deck 4 as we turned and walked around a corner. Minnie’s adventurer outfit is exclusive to the Disney Treasure and I had been really looking forward to meeting her in it but was definitely not expecting it to happen as quickly as it did – it was just incredible timing that we could not have planned even if we tried!
We were both feeling hungry and our usual first stop after boarding is to go and get lunch straight away before it gets too busy however we had one very important job that we had to do before we could do anything else. So instead we walked up to Deck 5 to join the long line (which reached all the way back along the corridor to the Grand Hall) for the Triton Lounge which was due to open fifteen minutes later at 12:30pm for any dining enquiries and changes as well as for anyone trying to get a reservation at Palo or Enchanté.
Thankfully we already had reservations for both Palo and Enchanté which was probably the best benefit to being Platinum onboard the Disney Treasure (as it has so many concierge staterooms which get priority booking over anyone else) but the one thing we wanted to do was make sure that we had our own table for dinner as we did not want a repeat of what happened on our first cruise onboard the Disney Wish (they are sister ships) when we were seated at a table for six with another couple – this cruise was seven nights and we had no wish to sit with anyone else for that length of time. Call us anti-social but we go on holiday to spend time with each other (as we have such different work schedules when we’re at home) and sitting with strangers is not our idea of fun – we always make the request for a private table when booking the cruise and never ask for anything else as it does not bother us in the slightest as to what dining rotation we have or even what servers we get.
The majority of the people in line were waiting to see if they could get a reservation or be waitlisted for Palo or Enchanté so the line was barely moving however there was also another crew member pulling people out of line (including us) if you had any other dining enquiries and taking you straight into the Triton Lounge to see the dining team. Our worst fear was once again realised when it was confirmed that our request had not been granted (it seems that both the Wish and Treasure are notorious for this and I suspect that the Disney Destiny will be the same) and that we were sat on a table for four with two others.
There was absolutely no way we were going to share a table for seven nights as we would rather just not go to the dining rooms at all. We were able to put our name on the waitlist for a private table and was told to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that afternoon for any changes however I was hopeful that our request would be granted as our name was top of the list for a private table as we had made it a priority to go straight to the Triton Lounge as soon as we boarded the ship and not wait until after we had lunch.

Once we left the Triton Lounge we took the elevator straight up to Deck 11 and made our way to Marceline Market to get some food and after sailing on the Disney Wish twice before, it was so nice as we already knew our way around the ship. It was a little busy as we got there a bit later than we usually do but thankfully we had no trouble finding a table.
Just as on the Disney Wish, the food at Marceline Market is served to you which I actually prefer as it stops everyone touching the serving utensils and feels so much more hygienic especially when you see some people not even want to wash their hands when entering. For my lunch I got a small portion of the Plant Based Beef Stir Fry and also asked for a few Shrimp and was given a giant plate of them but I was not complaining in the slightest as they tasted so good along with some Asparagus and Sweet Potato Fries on the side. To finish I had my favourite Celebration Cake and Strawberry Creme Pot which I always look forward to on every embarkation day.

Once we had finished eating our lunch, it was already 1:30pm which meant that all of the staterooms onboard were ready at this time. It was a familiar walk down to 8654 on the starboard side of Deck 8 to drop off our bags that we had with us as it was the exact same room that we had stayed in on the Disney Wish as we had loved the location so much. We also met our Stateroom Host Aristo who introduced himself and who looked after us and our room so well during our week onboard.
Our Key to the World cards were waiting for us in a sealed envelope outside the door and I was overjoyed not only by having an beautiful Encanto-themed room but also by the sight of all of the Disney Treasure Inaugural Sailing welcome back gifts that were waiting for us as Platinum Castaway Club members which included lanyards, a bag, a laundry bag, towel bands, a wet/dry bag and a beach towel which also doubles as a game of Noughts and Crosses (or Tic Tac Toe as it is known in the US) which is what the round game pucks that are also in the bag are for – they are not drinks coasters as so many other bloggers and vloggers have incorrectly stated.
Our suitcases had not arrived at this time so we took a few minutes to unpack our hand luggage and put the bottles of wine that we had brought onboard with us into the fridge to chill – each guest over 21 years old can carry on two bottles of wine/champagne or six beers at the start of the cruise as well as at each port of call. The full Alcohol Policy can be found here on the Disney Cruise Line website.
A few minutes later just after 1:45pm we had a notification on our phones to confirm that we had been switched to a private table for dinner which was the best news ever and truly felt like a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders – it made heading straight to wait in line at the Triton Lounge when we boarded completely worth it.

As we still had some time before the Muster Drill which was due to start at 3:55pm we decided to explore the ship starting with Edge on Deck 5 Aft which was in Open House at this time and I loved the Arabic lamps outside the door along with the Scrabble tiles on one of the shelves inside spelling out “Treasure” and the old stereo with a “Cosmic Mix Vol. 1” cassette (from Guardians of the Galaxy) inside.

We also stopped by Sarabi which is one of the entertainment venues onboard that is inspired by The Lion King (Sarabi is the name of Simba’s mother) and we had fun trying to find all four of the Hidden Mickeys in the proscenium around the stage before taking a quick peak into the incredible albeit very busy and crowded Haunted Mansion Parlor.

After walking around the ship it was time to head back to our stateroom to collect our bags with our cameras and lenses as well as spare batteries ready for the sailaway party so that we did not need to waste time and go back to our room after the dreaded in-person muster drill. Our muster station was “U” which was located in Worlds of Marvel on Deck 4 which even though it is located inside (which some people love as you are not having to stand outside in the hot sun or rain for the drill) is in my opinion also the worst location on the ship as there are six stations (so a LOT of people) located there meaning it was so noisy, busy and crowded trying to enter even though we got there a little early to try and beat the crowds as the bottleneck entrance to the restaurant was causing chaos and it took forever to get inside.
After our Key to the World cards were scanned, we sat down at one of the tables and waited for the drill to begin. I will sound like a broken record yet again but I really do miss the virtual muster drill – one of the only good things to come from the Covid era – where you simply had to watch a (much more detailed) safety video and check in at your muster station which really was so quick, easy and painless in comparison and and also saved a lot of time and stress on embarkation day.
Despite this being the worst, most chaotic and painful muster drill I’ve ever experienced in fourteen cruises, thankfully this was the only low point of the entire week and I live in hope (as I always do) that the virtual muster drill will return once again in time for my next cruise as if other cruise lines still do it, why can’t Disney Cruise Line?
It was just as chaotic trying to leave Worlds of Marvel and attempt to run up the stairs from Deck 4 to Deck 12 but thankfully I managed to get a spot ready for Let’s Set Sail. The weather was also behaving at this time with no thunder or lightning in the area (like there has been several times for us on previous cruises when leaving Florida) meaning we could finally relax and the cruise could officially begin.

To begin the sailaway party we were introduced to Coriander and Sage who are two new original characters exclusive to the Disney Treasure. They are the Treasure Sea-kers and the storytellers of the ship who would be with us during our time onboard and help us discover the treasure that we were all looking for – whether it be a chest of gold hidden in a pirates cove, endless riches piled high in a far off Cave of Wonders, a priceless artefact hidden deep in an ancient temple or maybe a treasure even greater.
So it was finally time to set a course, it was time to explore and the time had come to live our adventure! I won’t get too far ahead of myself right now but we absolutely loved Coriander and Sage and they were truly one of the absolute highlights of the entire cruise for us.

Captain Minnie, Captain Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto arrived on stage to begin the party and Let’s Set Sail onboard the Disney Treasure is nearly identical to the Set Sail on a Wish sailaway party onboard the Disney Wish albeit with one or two tiny lyric changes throughout.

They were also joined on the stage by Belle, Princess Tiana and Naveen, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as well as Moana and the Genie!

Before we even knew it, our Cruise Director Trent – who we had not seen since our very first cruise on the Disney Wonder all the way back in 2013 – asked Captain Minnie to start the countdown to sound the ship horn. I have heard the “When You Wish Upon a Star” horn so many times over the years and I will never ever get bored of hearing it!

Once the party was over we grabbed a cold drink and walked up to Deck 13 Forward to watch as we left the dock and sailed out of Port Canaveral towards the Western Caribbean ports of Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth and Castaway Cay. As we sailed past Jetty Park and out to sea we also heard the Star Wars, We Don’t Talk About Bruno, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, How Far I’ll Go and the incredible Grim Grinning Ghosts horns.

Our two suitcases were waiting for us when we got back to our stateroom shortly afterwards so we took a few minutes to unpack everything that we had brought with us before storing the cases underneath the bed and out of sight for the next week.
Just after 6:00pm we walked down to Deck 5 as our first stop of the evening was Mickey’s Mainsail. There was a short line to enter as they were limiting access to the shop to stop overcrowding but we only waited a few minutes to enter and I was able to buy the two Disney Treasure pins that I wanted to get along with the Mickey Key to the World pin that I had been after for my last few cruises as well as the Disney Treasure lantern Christmas decoration and I was able to use the 10% discount which is available to Gold, Platinum and Pearl Castaway Club members.
My next stop was the Jade Cricket Cafe which is also located on Deck 5 just off the Grand Hall and is one of the most beautiful locations onboard the Disney Treasure. It had been a long day so far and I had not had any coffee so I desperately needed to refuel ready for the rest of the evening ahead of us. I do have a lot more photos of all the details you can find at the cafe but I will post them in another blog as this one is already far too long!

With coffee in hand, we walked back through the Grand Hall to see Daisy Duck who was standing on Deck 5 with absolutely no one in line waiting to meet her! It was so strange to see as the lines to meet characters on the first evening onboard are usually so long and I was expecting them to be the same on this night given how crowded the ship seemed to be for the sailaway party but it was actually the complete opposite. I did not even have my big camera with me as we were only planning on going for a walk to Mickey’s Mainsail and to get a coffee but thankfully my iPhone camera saved the day.
I had already started taking far too many photos of the beautiful chandelier every time we walked through the Grand Hall and I loved that it changed colours throughout the day (depending on the time of day or even by what event was taking place) which made the perfect background for all the character photos that we would be taking throughout the next week.

We also decided to walk out onto Deck 4 to get some fresh air as it was so hot inside the ship (it did thankfully cool down for the rest of the cruise) and we even walked out onto the bow of the Disney Treasure which you can access from sunrise to sunset (except during bad weather) and even when the ship is out at sea unlike a certain Disney vlogger annoyingly and incorrectly states time and time again.

After dropping our shopping off back in our stateroom, we grabbed our cameras as we decided we needed to meet some more characters given that there had been no line at all to meet Daisy. Donald was out on Deck 5 at 7:00pm and Minnie was on Deck 4 at 7:30pm again with hardly anyone waiting for either of them. Before the cruise I had finally bought myself a flash for my mirrorless camera so this was my first chance to use it properly. I had so much fun taking photos with it throughout our week onboard and seeing what worked and what did not – it was the perfect way to learn and to test it out.

The Disney Victrophonics who sing jazz versions of different Disney songs were also playing on the Grand Hall stage at 7:30pm and I always love watching them as you cannot help but dance along as the music is just so damn catchy!
As we were watching the show, we also happened to be in the right place at the right time to meet Coriander and Sage for the first time as they were walking around Deck 4. We were able to chat with them for a few minutes and talked about many things including monkeys, going on different adventures as well as exploring the world. They also told us to not miss Choose Wisely: An Indiana Jones Comedy Adventure in a few days time.
However what they did not know was that Choose Wisely was one of the things that I was most excited to see during the entire cruise and it was actually the very first thing that I had searched for on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app earlier that day to see when it was scheduled and I could not wait to watch it later that week.

Our dinner on the first night of our cruise was in Worlds of Marvel which is located on Deck 4 Aft and as we had second seating, our dining time was at 8:15pm every night. Something that I immediately noticed as soon as we sat down (which I had seen mentioned in other Disney Treasure blogs and vlogs) is that the tables were more spaced out than on the Disney Wish and it also seemed a little quieter as well as calmer which were both massive improvements. We also met our incredible serving team who would be looking after us for the entire week – Suartana was our Server, Yi Feng was our Assistant Server and Aziz (who we had sailed with on our first Transatlantic cruise on the Disney Magic back in 2015) was our Head Server – and they were all absolutely wonderful and one of the best serving teams we have ever had.
On the first evening at Worlds of Marvel onboard the Disney Treasure, you will experience the Avengers: Quantum Encounter dinner show which is also featured on the Disney Wish which I had loved when we sailed on her – however the new version on the Disney Treasure also includes some updates and changes from our previous experience. We were also grateful to be scheduled such a familiar meal on our first night onboard when we were both feeling a little tired.
Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne aka Ant Man and the Wasp host a presentation called Miracles from Molecules showcasing Pym Tech and the latest Quantum Core technology that can shrink and grow different items at the push of a button and a great detail is that they are hosting their presentation from the Marvel Super Hero Academy which is located in the Oceaneer Club on Deck 2.
To demonstrate the Quantum Cores that are on each of the tables that can target Pym Particles to shrink or grow just about anything, Ant Man wants to shrink his suitcase so that he can fit it under his bed onboard the ship as well as shrink his towel swan that he made to make it easier to take home but predictably things do not go to plan as he also accidentally shrinks the Disney Treasure in the process! During the meal all of the screens around the restaurant show different clips from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and display different character profiles as well as a showcase of various Avengers technology.

One thing that I really appreciated on the Disney Treasure was that they took your full order – including dessert – right at the beginning of the meal whenever there was an entertainment element to the dinner. Doing this meant that you could just sit back and enjoy the show without any interruptions which made everything flow seamlessly.
For my first night dinner I ordered the Sautéed Crimini and Oyster Mushrooms to start (which is one of my favourite appetisers across the entire fleet) followed by the White Cheddar and Broccolini Soup and the Shiitake and Tofu Udon for my main course which I struggled to finish as it was such a big portion of noodles. For my dessert I had to order the Spiderman Quantum Cupcake from the kid’s menu because it looked amazing and why not?!

The Avengers: Quantum Encounter dinner show also now features Spiderman who has hacked into the ship’s communication centre to warn that Ultron is on his way to the ship as he wants the Quantum Cores. Spiderman also lets us know that he borrowing Tony Stark’s Quinjet and is on his way to the ship to help.
The show then continues as before with Sam Wilson, Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel and the Wasp taking part in an epic battle on the top decks of the Disney Treasure with a brand new added scene between Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel before Ant Man defeats Ultron with our help using the Quantum Cores.
Once the battle was over, Spiderman finally arrived in the restaurant instead of Ant Man and the Wasp as before. It is possible to get a photo or selfie with him (no autographs would be possible) but you will have to be quick as he moves so fast between all of the tables.

We left Worlds of Marvel at 9:45pm and made our way to the Grand Hall to meet Goofy who was out on Deck 4 before watching the Arabian Nights “Kiss Goodnight” which takes place every evening at 5:00pm and 10:00pm.

To finish our evening onboard, we headed up to Deck 12 to sit back on one of the giant day beds that offer views along the entire length of the ship. This was one of our favourite spots on the Disney Wish and the perfect place to enjoy the sound of the sea (as well as a cup of tea) and the warm evening air at the end of a very long day.

We headed back to our stateroom where our first towel/blanket animal was waiting for us on the bed. One of my favourite features on the Disney Treasure is that the television is located on the wall directly opposite the bed (which I love as it means you can sit in bed without having to crane your neck to the side and squint your eyes further down the room) and I loved sitting in bed at the end of each day watching the Bridge Report channel which was showing that we were currently sailing at a speed of 16 knots close to West Palm Beach.

Embarkation day is always exhausting so it was no surprise that we were both feeling so tired after such a long day and we fell asleep at about 11:30pm. Disney Cruise Line beds are so comfortable and I do not remember my head hitting the pillow.
I had been looking forward to this cruise for so long and so far the Disney Treasure was everything I wanted it to be and more and that made me even more excited for the week ahead and I could not wait to experience everything this amazing ship had to offer.
